To celebrate the recognition of our newest Friends of Park groups, come join your Morningside neighbors for happy hour and some good old-fashioned, family-friendly fun in Sunken Garden Park! Meet with old and new friends, and enjoy playing classic lawn games on the field including cornhole, bocce ball, frisbees, ring toss, hula hoops and more. Don't forget the playground! This is an informal gathering for neighbors of ALL ages to rediscover one of our neighborhood's greatest gems, hear about the Friends of Sunken Garden group's plans and provide your own feedback on what you would like to see happen to reinvigorate this wonderful, albeit dark and humid, recreational park. Bring your own drinks and snacks to share!
